Dr. Michael Para shares his experiences with Study Notes from the perspective of an experienced researcher who feels as though his own research has benefited from becoming a research volunteer himself.
Dr. Para is the director of the Regulatory Knowledge and Support Core at The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and has over 30 years of experience in conducting clinical research studies.
In addition to contributing to Study Notes, Dr. Para was named a Columbus Business First Health Care Hero Award winner in 2007, has been regularly named as one of America’s Best Doctors by US News & World Report, and serves as the chair of the AIDS Drug Advisory Program for the State of Ohio.
Dr. Para is also the Associate Dean for Outcomes Research in The Ohio State University College of Medicine and specializes in infectious diseases.
